Commercial properties which do not <br />participate in the city's dumpster refuse collection program <br />arrange, through private haulers or otherwise, for the safe, <br />sanitary and lawful disposal of their refuse. <br />for <br />must <br />Section 26-39. Prohibition against use of curbside <br />collection service. <br />Any property, including commercial property, or parcel of <br />land which on the average generates refuse each week which would <br />fill more than twelve (12) thirty thirty-two gallon containers <br />• will be denied curbside collection service and therefore must use <br />the City dumpster service described above or that of a private <br />hauler. This provision may be waived by the Director of Public <br />Works upon a finding that the location of the subject property <br />makes it impractical to serve with front loading city refuse <br />trucks. <br />ARTICLE IV. CURBSIDE RECYCLING <br />Section 26-46 Definitions <br />Customers - are those persons who wish to participate in the <br />city's curbside recycling program and who either reside or <br />operate businesses within the city and the properties on which <br />they reside or operate a business meet the following two <br />criteria: (1) such properties receive once a week curbside refuse <br />collection service from the City, and (2) such properties on the <br />average generate refuse each week which would fill less than <br />twelve (12) thirty thirty-two gallon containers. Excluded from <br />this definition under this article are those persons who own or <br />operate "commercial properties" as defined in Article III of this <br />chapter - meaning properties which use dumpsters. <br />
