Section 32-93. Display of rates. <br />• (a) A card displaying the rates of fare currently on file with the chief of police for each <br />taxicab shall be posted in a prominent place in that taxicab. Such notice shall state that the <br />drivers may offer to charge less than the amount shown on the meter, but may never charge <br />more than the metered price plus applicable surcharges for night time. <br />(b) In addition, the currently filed rate schedule shall be displayed on both sides of the <br />exterior of every cab in letters at least three inches high, in the form prescribed in section 32-92. <br />(c) As an alternative to exterior posting of rates, rates may be posted on the interior of each <br />rear door window in letters at least one-eighth inch high, in the form prescribed in section 32- <br />92, so as to be visible from the outside of the vehicle; provided, that any vehicle with rates so <br />posted must be equipped with horizontally and vertically adjustable outside rear view mirrors <br />installed on both sides of such vehicle in such a manner as to provide the driver a rearward view <br />along both sides of the vehicle for a distance of at least two hundred (200) feet. <br />1997. <br />• <br />2.
