AN ORDINANCE <br />• AUTHORIZING THE ABANDONMENT OF A SEWER EASEMENT <br />AND ACCEPTANCE OF A NEW EASEMENT <br />FOR RELOCATION OF A SANITARY SEWER LINE <br />ACROSS PROPERTY IN THE ROBINSON WOODS SUBDIVISION. <br />WHEREAS, Rae Development Company, the developer of property in the <br />Robinson Woods subdivision, has requested abandonment of a portion of an existing <br />sanitary sewer line easement, of record in the Charlottesville Circuit Court Clerk's Office <br />in Deed Book 100, page 208, as shown on the attached plat made by Bryan Chambers and <br />Associates, dated October 23, 2000 (revised December 15, 2000); and <br />WHEREAS, the site plan for the Robinson Woods subdivision required relocation <br />of the existing sanitary sewer line at the owner's expense and required the developer to <br />grant a twenty foot wide easement to the City for the new sanitary sewer line; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer and the Director of Public Utilities have reviewed <br />the attached plat and related plans and have approved the abandonment and relocation of <br />the sanitary sewer easement; now, therefore <br />• BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that the <br />Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Deed of Easement and Abandonment of <br />Easement, in form approved by the City Attorney, abandoning and vacating the easement <br />of record in the aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed Book 100, page 208, and accepting a <br />twenty foot wide easement for the relocated sanitary sewer line, as shown on the plat <br />attached hereto. <br />Approved by Council <br />June 4, 2001 <br />Cl rk of City Council <br />• <br />
