Wthe applicant must have all weighing devices used in his business inspected <br />and approved by local or state weights and measures officials and must present <br />written evidence of such approval to the chief of police <br />• (2)the applicant must establish to the satisfaction of the chief of police that he <br />has not been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude within seven (7) <br />years prior to the date of application, and the applicant shall also verify that, <br />within the twelve(12) months preceding the application, he has not had a permit <br />revoked under this division or under any ordinance of another jurisdiction similar <br />in substance to the provisions of this article: and <br />(3)the applicant must demonstrate compliance with all other applicable provisions <br />of this article, to the satisfaction of the chief of police: and <br />4)the applicant must present evidence of pavment of the reauired application <br />fee. Following completion of the required police investigation, the chief of police <br />will direct the applicant to submit payment of the required fee to the city's <br />commissioner of revenue. A receipt issued by the commissioner of revenue shall <br />be sufficient evidence of payment of the required fee. <br />Sec. 21-60. Issuance or denial. <br />(a)Upon the filing of a proper application for a permit under this division and <br />compliance with all the applicable provisions of this article and division, the <br />applicant shall be issued a permit by the chief of police, provided the applicant <br />applicant has previously been denied a permit or, within the preeeding twelve(12) months, has had a permit revoked tinder thus division or any ordinance o•has not been convicted of a felony or crime of moral turpitude within seven (7)years prior to the date of the applieation.
