Sec. 21-56. Required. <br />No person shall engage in the activities of a dealer within the city, unless he has <br />• obtained a eurrent permit so to do issued purstiont to authorizing such activities, <br />as required by this division. Possession of a permit issued in another locality shall <br />not relieve a dealer of the obligation to obtain a permit under this division. <br />Sec. 21-58. Application; fee. <br />Any person desiring a permit required by this d 9 v isio. i to engage in the activities <br />of a dealer within the city shall file with the chief of police an application form <br />which shall include the applicant's full name and any aliases, the applicant's <br />address, age, date of birth, sex and fingerprints; the name, address and <br />telephone number of the applicant's employer, if any; and identification of the <br />location of within the city from which the applicant's place of business will <br />engage in the activities of a dealer. Such application shall be aecampanied by <br />subject to an application fee of one hundred dollars <br />(1)The application fee for a dealer who will conduct business from a fixed and <br />permanent location shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) per permit year. For the <br />purposes of this division and section, with respect to dealers conducting business <br />from a fixed and permanent location a permit year shall commence on March 1 of <br />each calendar year. On or before March 1 each year such dealer shall submit <br />• the application required by this section. A permit issued to such dealer during <br />calendar year 2001 shall be and remain valid through the end of February 2002. <br />2)The application fee for dealers who will conduct activities from a location other <br />than a fixed and permanent location shall be two hundred dollars ($200.00) per <br />application non -pro -ratable. Once such a dealer has concluded activities at a <br />location authorized by a permit issued under this division, a new application shall <br />be required before the same dealer may re -open business at that same location <br />or engage in the activities of a dealer at another location. <br />Sec. 21-59. <br />Inspection and approval of applicant's weighing deviee.- <br />Application requirements: fee. <br />a)Upon receipt of an application the chief of police will initiate an investigation to <br />determine whether a permit should be issued under this division. Dealers who <br />engage in business from a fixed and permanent location are encouraged to <br />submit their applications thirty o sixty days in advance of March 1 each year, so <br />that the police investigation may be completed in time to prevent interruption of <br />the dealer's business from one permit year to the next. <br />jb)Before a permit required by this division may be issued by the chief of police: <br />0 <br />
