n <br />LJ <br />Prepared by Charlottesville City Attorney's Office <br />November 12, 2002 <br />Portion of City Tax Map Parcel 300034000 <br />THIS DEED OF ABANDONMENT OF EASEMENT. made and entered into this <br />day of , 2002, by and between the CITY OF <br />CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA, a municipal corporation, Grantor, hereinafter "City"; and <br />hereinafter "Grantee, whose address is <br />WITNESSETH: <br />THAT FOR AND IN CONSIDERATION of the sum of ONE DOLLAR ($1.00), cash in <br />hand paid, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, Grantor does hereby VACATE, ABANDON, QUITCLAIM and <br />EXTINGUISH all right, title and interest in the following described easement, to -wit: <br />A perpetual easement of right-of-way, ten feet (10) in width on either side of <br />the center line of any water, gas, sanitary or storm sewer mains located in that <br />• portion of former Delevan Street right-of-way vacated by ordinance of the <br />Charlottesville City Council adopted on April 16, 2001, of record in the <br />Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Charlottesville in Street <br />Closing Book 2, page 32, said former right-of-way also being shown as a <br />shaded area on the physical survey plat made by Gary M.
