(c)Application. Submission of the personal property tax return referenced within §30-35 of the City Code shall constitute application for the license required by this section. (d)Approval The license(s) required by this section shall be deemed Granted upon (i) the City's receipt of the return required by 00-35 of the City Code and payment of the license fee(s) required by §l 5-37, below, and (ii) the City's receipt of payment in full of all personal property taxes which have been assessed with respect to the motor vehicle trailer or semitrailer to be licensed. No motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer shall be deemed licensed by the city until its owner has produced satisfactory evidence that all personal property taxes on such motor vehicle trailer or semitrailer to be licensed have been paid as well as satisfactory evidence that any delinquent personal property taxes owing have been paid. Sec. 15-37. License fee. (a)Fee established. The license fee(s) required by this section shall be in addition to any personal property or other taxes applicable to the subject motor vehicle trailer or semitrailer. (b)T'he annual fee for the licenses required by §15-36 shall be as set forth below: (1)Passenger car, four thousand (4,000) pounds or less: $28.50 (2)Passenger car, more than 4,000 pounds, and trucks: $33.50 (3)Motor vehicles operated or used for rent or for hire less than 13,000 pounds: Weight (pounds) Annual License Fee 5,499 or less $22.70 5,500 - 10,000 $29.35 10.001 — 10.499 $30.70 11,001 — 11,499 $33.90 11,500 — 12.000 $35.75 12,001 —12,499 $37.35 12,500 —13,000 $39.40 More than 13,000 $69.40 (4)Motorcycles: $8.50 (5)Trailers and semitrailers: Registered Gross Weight (pounds) Annual License Fee 1,500 or less $10.00 1,501 — 4,000 $20.50 More than 4,000 $25.50 Page 2 of 6
