A RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT OF POST RETIREMENT SUPPLEMENTS <br />FOR RETIRED CITY EMPLOYEES <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 1979-80 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a budget for <br />fiscal year 1979-80 which includes funding for an average salary increase <br />of 5.5%, exclusiveof merit increases for current City employees; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, pursuant to §20-33(b): of the Code of the City of Charlottes- <br />ville, 1976, that the Retirement Fund Commission is authorized and <br />directed to provide for the payment of a post retirement supplement of 5:5% <br />of the current retirement pay of each presently retired City employee <br />effective for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1979. <br />• <br />Copy Teste: <br />Clerk of the Council <br />11 <br />Adopted by the Council <br />May 21, 1979 <br />
