RESOLUTION' OF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA, DECLARING <br />A PORTION OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, <br />it VIRGINIA ELIGIBLE FOR CONSERVATION <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 36-49.1 OF THE CODE <br />OF VIRGINIA (1950, AS AMENDED) <br />WHEREAS, it appears to City Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville, Virginia ("City Council") that a portion of the <br />City of Charlottesville described in Exhibit A attached to this <br />Resolution and incorporated herein by reference (the "Conservation <br />Area") is deteriorating and may be eligible for conservation as <br />provided by Section 36-49.1 of the Code of Virginia (1950, as <br />amended); <br />WHEREAS, it is in the public interest that the Charlot- <br />tesville Redevelopment and Housing Authority (the "Authority") pre- <br />pare a plan for the conservation thereof; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, VIRGINIA: <br />1. It is hereby declared that it appears to City Council N .. <br />that the Conservation Area is deteriorating and may be eligible <br />for conservation as provided by Section 36-49.1 of the Code of <br />Virginia (1950, as amended). G . <br />2.
