A RESOLUTION <br />ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE <br />CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE <br />• WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended certain <br />amendments to be made to the City's comprehensive plan as a result of <br />the completion of the Virginia Department of Highways and Transporta- <br />tion's Charlottesville Area Transportation Study; and <br />WHEREAS, these amendments were the subject of a joint public <br />hearing before the City Planning Commission and this Council on July <br />13, 1982; now, therefore, be it <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia <br />that the Comprehensive Plan of the City, as adopted November 5, 1979, <br />is hereby amended as follows: <br />I. Page 102, Recommendation 2, Transit System, add the following: <br />g Transit Innovations: Consider improvements to the <br />transit system which might include, -but not be <br />limited to; use of taxis rieessharin riorit <br />treatment route deviation, use of railroa ri ht - <br />o -way, personal rapid transit, expan a eman - <br />responsive services, taxis, lig�ail <br />transit. <br />II. Page 102, Recommendation 5, Streets, make the following change: <br />• b.
