0 <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the Charlottesville/Albemarle Association <br />for Retarded Citizens (CAARC) is planning to develop a <br />residential facility for mentally retarded adults to be <br />situated on the southwest corner of Parkway and Park <br />Streets in the City of Charlottesville; and <br />WHEREAS, CAARC is seeking financial assistance in <br />the development of this facility from the Virginia Housing <br />Development Authority (VHDA); and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the development of such a <br />facility is appropriate on the proposed site, and that <br />the proposal is an appropriate one for VHDA financing; <br />• NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Charlottesville, Virginia: <br />1. that the proposed use by CAARC and financing <br />by VHDA is hereby approved; and <br />2. that this approval be transmitted forthwith <br />to VHDA. <br />Approved by Council <br />August 15, 1983 <br />erkZ fCounc il— <br />
