• 3. The Executive Director of Region Ten is also <br />hereby directed and authorized to negotiate and execute on behalf <br />of Region Ten a Contract of Purchase or a lease for property at <br />which to relocate a facility to' house the mental health day <br />program currently located at 409 Third Street. The proceeds from <br />the sale of the Properties are to be used for the purchase or <br />lease of and necessary renovations to the new mental health day <br />program facility. Any excess proceeds from the sale of the <br />Properties, after applying them towards the purchase or lease of <br />said new facility, shall be added to the Region Ten Community <br />Services Board Special Projects Fund. <br />4. Upon the due execution of a Contract of Sale <br />for the Properties or a Contract of Purchase for a new mental <br />health day program facility, and prior to the closing of the real <br />estate transactions, Region Ten is hereby directed to present to <br />the City Council the basic agreements and deeds (and other <br />related documents), which are necessary to the consummation of <br />the transactions, in order to obtain the final authorization of <br />the City Council for the contemplated transaction. <br />5. Each officer, official and employee of the <br />City and Region Ten are authorized to execute and deliver'on <br />behalf of the City and Region Ten such instruments, documents or <br />certificates, and to do and perform such things and acts, as they <br />shall deem necessary or appropriate to carry out the transactions <br />• authorized by the Resolution or such instruments, documents or <br />certificates; and all of the foregoing previously done or <br />performed by such officers, officials and employees of the City <br />and Region Ten are in all respects approved, ratified and <br />confirmed. <br />E <br />6.
