0 <br />• <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the Charlottesville High School Football Team <br />had an impressive 10-3 record during its 1987-88 season; and <br />WHEREAS, the Football Team, under the leadership of <br />Coach Garwin DeBerry and Assistant Coaches Cy Weaver, Carol <br />Dickers, and Ron Green, participated in the playoffs for the <br />first time in twelve years, becoming co -champions in the <br />Valley District and regional champions in Region SI; and <br />WHEREAS, fifteen team members were chosen for <br />All -District, eight members were chosen for All -Regional, and <br />three members were chosen for All -State, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of <br />Charlottesville would like to recognize the superb efforts of <br />the entire Charlottesville High School Football Team and <br />congratulate them on their outstanding season. <br />Signed and sealed this 21st day of December, 1987. <br />Francis L.
