RESOLUTION <br />• GRANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO JAMES AND CYNTHIA STULTZ <br />FOR USE OF THE PROPERTY (TWO BUILDINGS) <br />DESIGNATED AS PARCEL 56 ON CITY TAX MAP 11, <br />KNOWN AS 1718 JEFFERSON PARK AVENUE AND 106 MAYWOOD LANE, <br />AS A SORORITY. <br />WHEREAS, James and Cynthia Stultz, owner of property known as <br />1718 Jefferson Park Avenue and 106 Maywood Lane, have requested a <br />special use permit to allow use of the buildings and property as a <br />sorority. This property is further identified on City Real <br />Property Tax Map #11 as parcel 56, having approximately 100 feet of <br />frontage on Jefferson Park Avenue, 207 feet of frontage on Maywood <br />Lane, and containing approximately 20,187 square feet of land, or <br />.46 acres; <br />WHEREAS, following a joint public hearing before this Council <br />and the Planning Commission, duly advertised and held on May 14, <br />1991, this Council finds that such use will conform to the criteria <br />applicable to special permits generally under Chapter 34 of the <br />City Code; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that a special use permit is hereby grantedtoJames and <br />Cynthia Stultz to allow use of the buildings and property at 1718 <br />• Jefferson Park Avenue/106 Maywood Lane as a sorority, pursuant to <br />City Code section 34-199. <br />The approval of this special use permit is conditioned upon <br />the following: <br />1. Administrative approval of the site plan; and <br />2. The use of the property shall be for a sorority only with <br />maximum occupancy of 18 (17 students and 1 house mother) <br />and bedroom floor area of 900 square feet. Floor plans <br />shall be provided to verify this. <br />3. There shall be no daily meals served except to residents <br />and their guests. No meal program will be offered to the <br />full sorority membership. <br />4. Conduct of occupants shall comply substantially with the <br />Standing Rules of Alpha Gamma Delta International. <br />5.
