RESOLUTION <br />• GRANTING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT <br />TO JAMES D. STULTZ <br />FOR AN ADDITIONAL DWELLING UNIT <br />THE BETA BRIDGE APARTMENT COMPLEX <br />(416-422 17TH STREET, N.W.) <br />WHEREAS, James D. Stultz, on behalf of CBS Rentals, owner of <br />the Beta Bridge Apartments at 416-422 17th Street, N.W., has <br />requested a special use permit to add a twelfth dwelling unit to <br />the existing Beta Bridge Apartments; this property being further <br />identified as Parcels 8, 9 and 10 on City Real Property Tax Map 9, <br />having approximately 157 feet of frontage on 17th Street, N.W. and <br />containing approximately 22,095 square feet of land or .51 acres; <br />WHEREAS, following a joint public hearing before this Council <br />and the Planning Commission, duly advertised and held on <br />September 14, 1993, this Council finds that such use will conform <br />to the criteria applicable to special permits generally under <br />Chapter 34 of the City Code; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that a special use permit is hereby granted to James D. <br />Stultz for the addition of a twelfth dwelling unit to the existing <br />Beta Bridge Apartments at 416-422 17th Street, N.W. <br />• The approval of this special use permit is conditioned upon <br />the following: <br />1. Administrative approval of the site plan with adequate <br />provision on site for a total of 30 parking spaces. <br />2. Reduction of the occupancy of the house at 422 17th Street, <br />N.W. from eight (8) occupants to four (4) occupants. <br />Approved by Council <br />October 4, 1993 <br />erk of City Council <br />• <br />
