• RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO <br />A SPECIAL USE PERMIT GRANTED TO MACAA <br />FOR 1025 PARR STREET. <br />WHEREAS, the Monticello Area Community Action Agency, owner of <br />the property at 1025 Park Street, has requested an amendment to the <br />special use permit granted by City Council on January 4, 1993, and <br />amended July 6, 1993, to allow permanent closure of access to the <br />250 Bypass from 1025 Park Street, and extension of the hours of <br />operation. This property is further identified as Parcel 2 on City <br />Real Property Tax Map 45, having approximately 70 feet of frontage <br />on Park Street, 626 feet of frontage on the 250 Bypass, and <br />containing approximately 343,557 square feet of land or 7.89 acres; <br />WHEREAS, following a joint public hearing before this Council <br />and the Planning Commission, duly advertised and held on <br />November 14, 1995, this Council finds that such use will conform to <br />the criteria applicable to special permits generally under Chapter <br />34 of the City Code; now, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, <br />Virginia that the special use permit granted to MACAA on January 4, <br />1993, and amended, July 6, 1993, is hereby amended as follows: <br />(1) Access from the property at 1025 Park Street to the 250 <br />Bypass shall be permanently closed. <br />(2) MACAA shall not be required to chain off the entrance to <br />1025 Park Street after the hours of operation. <br />(3) The hours of operation by MACAA or any auxiliary uses <br />shall not exceed 10:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, and <br />11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. <br />The approval of this amendment to the special use permit is <br />conditioned upon administrative approval of the site plan. <br />Approved by Council <br />December 4, 1995 <br />I <br />rk of City Council <br />
