• AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT DEVELOPMENT AND ADMINISTRATION <br />BY THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE <br />ROUTE 250 BYPASS INTERCHANGE <br />PROJECT 0250-104-103,PE 101,RW 201,C 5019B 604 (UPC 60234) <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and executed in triplicate as of this day of <br />200_ between the COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, DEPARTMENT OF <br />TRANSPORTATION, hereinafter called the "DEPARTMENT" or "VDOT" and the CITY OF <br />CHARLOTTESVILLE, hereinafter called the "MUNICIPALITY" or "LOCALITY". <br />-WlTNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, the Commonwealth Transportation Board has adopted a Six -Year <br />Improvement Program for Fiscal Years 2005 through 2010 for urban highways, which includes an <br />• allocation of funds for an improvement project in the MUNICIPALITY, known as <br />0250-104-1031PE 101,RW 201, C 501,13 604, UPC 60234, referred to hereinafter as the 'Project; <br />and - - <br />WHEREAS, the federal portion of the allocation is identified as a part of 20.205, Highway <br />Planning and Construction, in the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance; and <br />WHEREAS, federal funds are expected to be used to finance the Project, therefore, the <br />Federal Highway Administration ("FHWA") will be involved throughout the Project development; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the estimated cost is $1,250,000.00 for preliminary engineering, (NYA) for <br />right-of-way acquisition and utility relocation, and $11,000,000.00 for construction; for a total of <br />$12,250,000.00; and <br />0 08 October 2004 Standard <br />
