Abstaining: Mr. Buck. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br /> Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $14,950 is hereby <br /> appropriated from the unappropriated balance of the General <br /> Fund to expenditure account 01-00000-1334 to be used as a <br /> loan, if needed, to the Charlottesville High School Band <br /> Program to enable the CHS Band toparticipate in the Cotton <br /> Bowl Parade January 1, 1988. <br /> <br /> APPROPRIATION: $16,000 - GAS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (2nd reading) <br /> The $16,000 appropriation for the Gas Assistance <br /> Program which was offered at the September 8th meeting, was <br /> approved by the following vote. Such <br /> appropriated sum will consist of the amount receivedf as <br /> contributions by citizens for the Gas Assistance Program and <br /> a matching amount, up to $8,000.00, by the City to be taken <br /> from account 04-10020 in the Gas Fund. <br /> APPROPRIATION: $4,296 - LITTER CONTROL GRANT (2nd reading) <br /> The $4,296 appropriation for the Litter Control Grant <br /> Grant which was offered at the September 8th meeting, was <br /> approved by the following vote.
