Comments listed do not necessarily reflect agreement on the part of <br />Council, but were suggested by the individual groups. <br /> <br /> Housing:, <br /> Housing Authority - community discussion, committee suggested by Mayor to <br />plan forums. <br /> Housing Strategy - Council's role to comment on Planning Commission priorities. <br />1) Keep emphasis on family housing; 2) analyze existing programs to increase home <br />ownership; 3) encourage neighborhood amenities (ask Planning Commission to clarify/be <br />more specific; 4) Housing Authority an integral part of Strategy (work on middle income <br />as well as low income); 5) Infrastructure: financial projections needed; City provide one <br />necessity for developers such as drainage; include redevelopment needs.
