Va. Community Nursing Center, Ms. Peacock said it is her <br />understanding that the University has not committed to funding the program, but has said <br />that they are inclined to fund it. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards said she is not willing to commit to sustained funding for the <br />program. <br /> <br /> Mr. Cox said he would prefer to target the City's fund to go toward the positions <br />filled by public housing residents. <br /> <br /> Mr. Caravati said that it may be difficult for the Housing Authority to provide <br />their match for the program given other needs. <br /> <br /> Ms. Richards said that one option would be for the State legislators to support a <br />budget amendment next year for funding for the Clinics. Ms. RichardS said she does not <br />feel comfortable telling the Nursing Center how to use their money and Ms. Daugherty <br />agreed. <br /> <br /> <br />
