On the issue ofundergrounding, <br />Mr. Toscano said the question is how to limit where it is done and how can the project <br />conform to the TEA-21 guidelines. Mr. Toscano suggested that if Council agrees on the <br />undergrounding then staff can recommend the side streetsm be done. <br /> <br /> Ms. Daugherty recommended that staffpursue the flyover at Union Station asa <br />future project. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tosem~ suggested that for long-term thinking, Council consider the corridor, <br />parallel to West Main Street, between Ridge Street and 10th Street, which could be used <br />for alternative modes of transportation, and a pedestrian route between downtown and <br />Mclntire Park. <br /> <br />CONSENTAGENDA <br /> <br /> On motion by Mr. Caravati, the following consent agenda items were approved by <br />the following vote.
