<br />approximately 630 feet of frontage on Lexington Avenue, 650 feet of frontage on High
<br />Street, 290 feet of frontage on Locust Avenue, 257 feet of frontage on Sycamore Street,
<br />and contffming approximately 419,483 square feet of land or 9.63 acres;

<br /> WHEREAS,. following a joint public hearing before this Council and the
<br />Planning Commission, duly advertised and held on June 13, 2000, this Council finds that
<br />such use will conform to the criteria applicable to special permits generally under
<br />Chapter 34 of the City Code; now, therefore
<br />
<br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Cotmcil of the City of Charlottesville, Vkginia that a
<br />special use permit is hereby approved and granted to Martha Jefferson Hospital, owner of
<br />the property at 459 Locust Avenue, to add a one story rooftop addition (3,660 square
<br />feet) to the Cardwell Cemer on the Lexington Avenue side of the property. This special
<br />use permit is conditioned upon:
<br />
<br />Administrative approval of the final site plan with all requirements
<br />of the zoning ordinance met; and
<br />
<br />Implementation, monitoring and verification of a system which
<br />better results in employees parking in hospital parking facilities.
