APPROPRIATION: $3,622.44 - Weed and Seed Program Grant (2nd reading) BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $3,622.44, received as a grant from the Weed and Seed Network, is hereby appropriated to account 13-162-062132 for the purpose of reimbursing Teens GIVE for the "Summer Teens in the Park." c. APPROPRIATION: $70,101 - Local Law Enforcemem Grant (2~a reading) BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that the sum of $70,101, received as a grant from the Bureau of Justice, is hereby appropriated to account 1 t-270-041168.. d. APPROPRIATION: Reappropriating Neighborhood Drainage Funds (2~a reading) BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, that $700,000 be appropriated from the Neighborhood Drainage account 28-181-051420-5011 for the following projects in the following amounts: $160,000 Transfer to account 28-181-051301-50111 for city-wide drainage projects. $300,000 Transfer to account 27-181-051533-53199 for traffic calming projects. $240,000 Transfer to aCcount 27-181-051201-50111 for construction and reconstruction of sidewalkS. $700,000 TOTAL e. RESOLUTION: Special Permit for Higher Density for MaywoOd Lane Apartments at 1718 Jefferson Park Avenue WHEREAS, James D. Stultz, representing the owner, CBS Rentals, of property at 1718 Jefferson Park Avenue has requested a special use permit for higher density residential development at Maywood Lane Apartments by allowing two additional efficiency dwelling units, accessible to the handicapped. This property is further idemified as Parcel 56 on City Real Property Tax Map 11, having approximately 100 feet of frontage on Jefferson Park Avenue, 208 feet of frontage on Maywood Lane, and containing approximately 20,259 square feet of land or .46 acres; WHEREAS, following a joint public hearing before this Council and the Planning Commission, duly advertised and held on June 13, 2000, this Council finds that such use will conform to the criteria applicable to special permits generally under Chapter 34 of the City Code; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia that a special use permit is hereby approved and granted to CBS Rentals, owner of the property at 1718 Jefferson Park Avenue, to allow an additional two (2) efficiency dwelling units, accessible to the handicapped, at Maywood Lane Apartments. This special use permit is conditioned upon: 1. Administrative approval of the final site plan, which shall include: a. An amended landscape plan to provide denser screening at front of site. a. Three parking spaces shall be allowed to encroach into the front and side setback.
