114 <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Dr. Hall stated that the 12th Street neighborhood <br />had requested that he thank the City Manager and Police <br />for the City's response to concerns in the neighborhood. <br /> <br /> Mr. Buck requested that the Charlottesville Re- <br />development and Housing Authority take the necessary steps <br />to market and encourage development of the Amoco and old <br />Leggett .parking lot sites. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Gleason stated that potential developers of <br />the property should be made aware of the recommendations <br />of the Urban Design Task Force. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix stated that the Highway Department has <br />been working on the design of the Ridge Street bridge-, <br />with construction estimated to begin in 1987.
