Mr. <br />Hendrix stated that this would enhance the City's <br />enforcement efforts. <br /> <br /> On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Hall, <br />the ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND <br />REORDAIN SECTION 16-29 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, RELATING TO THE OPERATION OF <br />VEHICLES NOT DISPLAYING THE REQUIRED CITY LICENSE <br />STICKER" was offered and carried over to the next <br />meeting for consideration.. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE: ALLOWING UNLICENSED PROPERTY OWNERS-TO PERFORM <br />PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL WORK ON THEIR OWN <br />PROPERTY <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix stated that the Attorney General <br />had recently made a ruling that allowed property <br />owners to perform plumbing, electrical and mechanical <br />work on their own property, subject to attaining the <br />proper permits and having the work inspected. <br /> <br /> On mo~ion Mrs. Gleason, seconded by 'Dr. Gunter, <br />the ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />SECTION 5-6 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTES- <br />VILLE, 1976, AS AMENDED, TO ALLOW UNLICENSED PROPERTY" <br />was offered and carried over to the next meeting for <br />consideration. <br /> <br />PUBLIC <br /> <br />There were no matters by the public. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix stated that information would be <br />available at the next meeting concerning the Dogwood <br />Festival's request to change the name of the 250 <br />Bypass. <br /> <br /> Dr. Hall stated that he had received complaints <br />concerning dirt on Ridge Street from West Main to <br />Cherry Avenue. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hendrix stated that as soon as the temperature <br />permitted, the street would be flushed. <br /> <br /> <br />
