On motion by Dr. Gunter, seconded by Dr. Hail, the ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING THE DISTRICT MAP INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE IN SECTION 31-4 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE-OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, AS AMENDED, BY CHANGING TO THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) ZONING CLASSIFICATION THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT ROSE HILL 'DRIVE" was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. ORDINANCE: LICENSE RELATING TO VEHICLES PARKED WITHOUT VALID LOCAL Mr. Hendrix stated that State law now allows for vehicles to be tick%ted for lack bf a valid City license on private property provided that the property owner has given permission that this be done. Mr. Hendrix stated that this would enhance the City's enforcement efforts. On motion by Mrs. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Hall, the ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND AND REORDAIN SECTION 16-29 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, 1976, RELATING TO THE OPERATION OF VEHICLES NOT DISPLAYING THE REQUIRED CITY LICENSE STICKER" was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration.. ORDINANCE: ALLOWING UNLICENSED PROPERTY OWNERS-TO PERFORM PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL WORK ON THEIR OWN PROPERTY Mr. Hendrix stated that the Attorney General had recently made a ruling that allowed property owners to perform plumbing, electrical and mechanical work on their own property, subject to attaining the proper permits and having the work inspected. On mo~ion Mrs. Gleason, seconded by 'Dr. Gunter, the ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5-6 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTES- VILLE, 1976, AS AMENDED, TO ALLOW UNLICENSED PROPERTY" was offered and carried over to the next meeting for consideration. PUBLIC There were no matters by the public. OTHER BUSINESS Mr. Hendrix stated that information would be available at the next meeting concerning the Dogwood Festival's request to change the name of the 250 Bypass. Dr. Hall stated that he had received complaints concerning dirt on Ridge Street from West Main to Cherry Avenue. Mr. Hendrix stated that as soon as the temperature permitted, the street would be flushed.
