They expressed concern with the payment but it <br />was noted by staff that this would only come into effect for new single and two family residential units. <br />Mr. Santoski made a motion to recommend approval of the ordinance to amend and reordain §29-182 <br />of the Subdivision Ordinance of the Code of the City of Charlottesville, 1990, as amended, to provide the option of contributing to a sidewalk fund rather than dedicating land and constructing sidewalks for Residential lots on existing streets as outlined by House Bill 1724.
