On motion these petitions wore referred to the Mayor and City Tanager with power to act. An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE SETTI�wG APART x;91,4.70.83 FOR STREETS, SEVERS, LIGHTS, V,6ATER AND OTHER PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS IN THE ANNEXED TERRITORY", was presented Ordinance- 12�o Plan by Dr. Haden, seconded by Mr. Gleason, and carried over for consideration. On motion by Dr. Haden, the report on audit by Richard G. Hantzmon for the Audit fiscal year ended August 31, 1939, was accepted and ordered filed with the minutes of this meeting. On motion by Dr. Haden, the report on audit of the School Board by Richard G. Audit - School Hantzmon for the fiscal year ended June 30, 1939, was accepted and ordered filed with ap the minutes of this meeting. On motion by Dr. Haden, seconded by Mr. Gleason, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that $541-50 be and the same is hereby appropriated to pay W. L. Maupin for 1083 Resolution Appropriation transfers of land annexed by the City on January 1, 1939. For Annexation Transf ers ` On motion by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Dr. Haden, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: BE IT RESOLVED -by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that all of paragraph 3 pertaining to the interment of infants of the Cemetery Cemetery Committee's report, which was adopted on May 1, 1939 (See Committee's Report Minute Book H, page 47) be and the same is hereby rescinded. Gleason, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Charlottesville, Virginia has been advised by the School Board of the City of Charlottesville, Resolution Virginia, that it is necessary that said School Board have additional re: transfer of funds for funds for equipment beyond the sum of $36,200.00 allocated for equip - new white high school ment in the new white high school now being constructed, designated as docket No. Virginia 1286 F, and • 'WHEREAS, in the funds budgeted by the said School Board for the completion of said white high school project there are included funds budgeted for the construction of a sanitary sewer and storm p iter disposal system, for certain driveways, cement walks, approaches
