BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that $42,050.00, be and the same is hereby appropriated for the purposes set Appropriation forth in the City Manager's quarterly Estimate for the quarter ending Quarterly Estimate February 2y, 19/+0, which amounts shall include all over -expenditures for the last quarter ended November 30, 1939. The following report was unanimously adopted: December 4, 1939 Report of City Attorney re: George Rage claim Application for filling station permit To the Council of The City of Charlottesville Gentlemen: At the last Council meeting there was referred to me for investigation and report the claim of George Bage for damage to his automobile. According to my information the point at which the damage was suffered by Mr. Bage was not on a City Street but on an.alley which has never been taken over by the City and for the upkeep of which, in my opinion, the city is not responsible.
