<br />direction to a point on Franklin Street, which point is 150
<br />ft. E. of the eastern margin of Nassau Street, thence a line in
<br />a southwesterly direction 15J ft. east of and parallel to the
<br />east-rn margin of Nassau Street, thence continuing said line in
<br />a westerly direction 150 feet south of and parallel to the
<br />southern margin of Nassau Street to its intersection with tine
<br />eastern margin of Monticello Road, thence in a southerly
<br />direction with the eastern margin of Monticello Road to a
<br />monument opposite the southern margin of the Old ,.uarry Road,
<br />thence in a westerly direction with the southern margin of said
<br />old quarry Road, to a concrete monument bet'een Roe.l&nd and
<br />Palatine Avenues, thence a line N 590 5/ W. to an iron in the
<br />east bank of the old Scottsville Road or 6th. street, S.E.
<br />thence with present corporate line N 780 5U1 I`, 2312 ft. to the
<br />beginning.
<br />It is further ordered on motion of The Rector L,nd Visitors
<br />of the University -)f Virginia, the City of Charlottesville and
<br />the County of Albemarle assenting -1Z.-her:--to., that the grounds,
<br />walks, driveways and all the lands nova belonging to said body
<br />politic or corporate, the corporate name of which is "The Rector
<br />and Visitors of the University of Virginia", although embraced
<br />within the line..: set out above, shall, nevertheless, be and they
<br />are excluded therefrom and shall be, remain, and continue in
<br />all respects and for all p-!.irposes a part of the County of
<br />Albemarle as fully as if the same s,jeru not included �,.ithin said
<br />lines.
<br />This exception or reservation, however, shail not apply
<br />to any of the lands no, ri used and e:mbracE:d 1liithin the streets
<br />and roads t:nown as `��test blain Street, Fryt s Spring Road, the
<br />Old Lynchburg Road, Rugby Road, State Highway No. 250, and
<br />State Highway No. 29, and the sidewal Ks thereon, and thu right
<br />of way of the C.&.0. Railroad, and all of said streets, roads,
<br />and ribht of way within the boundary lines set out above shall
<br />be in, and a part of, the City of Charlottesville.
