<br />LIQUID OR METERED MEASURE TO CONSUMERS IN THE CITY OF CHARLOTTE}'VILLE, DESIGNATED
<br />"SEC. 126 (1)" OF THE CITY CODE OF 1932, AND ENTITLED "CITY SEALER - COAL WEIGHTS -
<br />PENALTY'.'; which was offered and read in the meeting of the Council held on March 20,
<br />1939, was again read and adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: Mr. Gleason,
<br />Dr. Haden, 21r. Huff, Mr. Jessup, and Mr. Peyton. Noes: None. (Full text of this

<br />An ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ADDING A NEW SECTION TO THE CITY CODE OF
<br />1932, DESIGNATED AND ENTITLED SECTION 489 (70), PARKING OF BUSSES, TRUCKS, TRAILERS,
<br />ETC", which was offered and read in the meeting of the Council held on March 20,
<br />1939, was again read and adopted by the following recorded vote. Ayes: sur. Gleason,
<br />Dr. Haden, Mr. Huff, Mr. Jessup, and Mr. Peyton. Noes: None. (Full text of this
<br />Ordinance will be found recorded in Ordinance Book 2, page 233).
<br />On motion by Dr. Haden, the following resolution was unanimously adopted:
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that
<br />9100.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated to refund to the Redland
<br />Land Corporation for water connection of Dr. Alfred Burger on Blue Ridge Road.
<br />On motion by Dr. Haden, seconded by 11r. Gleason, the following resolution was
<br />unanimously adopted:
<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that
<br />�,200.00, or as much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby
<br />appropriated to the Welfare Department for groceries, etc., for the month of
<br />April, 1939.
<br />Change in A motion by Dr. Haden, that all regular Council Meetings be held at 2:30 o'clock

<br />Sprig On motion a communication relative to Sprig Road was referred to the City
<br />Road
<br />;tanager for investigation and report.
<br />A communication from the County Executive inclosing a resolution adopted by
<br />Joint the Board of County Supervisors of Albemarle County, Virginia, on March 23, 199,
<br />Health
<br />Dppt. pertaining to the Joint Health Department, was presented, but no action taken
<br />thereon.
