4:3 I <br />which was offered and read at the meeting of the Council held on March 9, 19392 <br />was amended by changing the Zoning Map dated March 9, 1939, as follows: "Change <br />from B-1 Business to A-1 Residence District the area north of 14adison Avenue and a <br />line extending from the eastern end of Madison Avenue to the Southern Railroad parallel <br />to and 300 feet north of Skinny*s Branch, and said map and ordinance was accordingly <br />so amended and changed.?' <br />On motion duly made and seconded, reading of said ordinance was dispensed with <br />by unanimous vote, and the ordinance as amended was adopted by the following recorded <br />vote: Ayes: Mr. Gleason, Dr. Haden, Mr. Huff, and Mr. Peyton. Noes: None. Burgess addressed the Council relative to a "Clean Up and Paint Up <br />'Meek" commencing on hjril 17, 1939, and operation of a sound truck during the afore- <br />said «reek.
