14 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE IMYOR TO SIGN DREMS FOR CKTMTFRY LOTS AND SECTIONS: ✓ BF. IT ORDAINED BY THE CO?.X017 COLT` CIL OF TT-TT4, CIV OF CI-tATLO i "'RSVTLL►:: That the Hayor of the City of Charlottesville shall have authority and it shall be hil duty to convey by deed with general warranty of title to any purchaser thereof' any section in any cemetery of the City to which the City has clear title,upon a cortin 6 from the City Treasurer that the purchase money for said section has been fully paid, And to any such deed the Mayor shall havethe ritght and it shall be his duty to attach the Seal of the City PROVIDED, However, that in any such deed it shall be expressly set out that the section thereby conveyed .shall be used for the interment of with persor, only ,and that its management and control shall be subject to any laws,ordinancea or resolutions passed or thereafter passed, by the City Council for the management, govern. went or improvement of the cemetehy in which the section conveyed is located,or for t management, government or improvement of the sections in said cemetery. BE IT ORDAIZZD BY TNF C01914ON COMICIL OF THE CITY OF CHARLOTTFSVILLE,VA. , w That on every license for shows within the limite of the City,or within one mile frog such limits the tax shall be as follows. - I, -.On a circus or menagerie,tent show,or other such like exhibition or performance, whe�er combined or separate,the tax shall be seventy five dollars ($75.00) for the i performance or exhibition, and thirty five dollars ($35.00) for each additional per or exhibit ion. II. --On a side show attached to or exhibited with any eircue,menagerie,tent show,or other such like exhibition or performance within the corporate likits of the City,or within one mile of the same,the tax shall be twenty dollars ($20.00) for each exhibit or performance. _- �� e tax on shows" I?7.
