<br />On every license to a person or firm to act as agent or solicitor for any Fife
<br />Insurance Corllpany,not having its principal office in this city there shall be a specific
<br />license tax for doing bmsiness in this city of thirty dollars ($430.) for each cor!Tany

<br />When there are two or nore agents not acting as co-partners and representing the
<br />sarie company, each of such agents shall be required to procure a license.

<br />On every license to a person,firm or corporation to conduct a Job printing Office
<br />the tax shall be twenty five dollars ($25. ) .

<br />On every license to a junk dealer the tax shall be fifty dollars (050.) and
<br />on every person who shall engage in the business of buying junk or other platter for
<br />a Junk Healer or for sale to a Junk sealer, the tax shall be thirt�r dollars ( n30.) •

<br />Every person who operates a Laundry shall pay for the privilege of conducting
<br />such business, if it be a laundry operated other than by hand, in this city, the sum
<br />of twenty five dollars (25. ).
<br />On every person operating a vapid haundr-1,r tl�e license tax shall be ten dollars
<br />($10'), But nothing in t',is section shall be construed to ir.pose a license tax
<br />upon persons who wash bed clot 11ing,wearing apparel, and so forth,without laundry
<br />machinery, and who do not keep shops or other regular places of business for laundry
<br />purposes.

<br />bitters, containing alcohol,or fruits preserved in ardent spirits,without first
<br />obtaining; the license for the bendfit of the city, as above specified and provided,
<br />and all persons conduc, ing such business without such license shall upon conviction,
<br />before the Police Justice of said city,be fined not less than 025. nor more than 0100.

<br />Butchers buying, for their own trade shall not be subject-. to this tax.

<br />On every license to keep a Livery Stable the tax shall be thirty five dollars
<br />(035.) and an additional tax of fifty cents on each stall therein, and two dollars
<br />for each saddle horse.
