38 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE to amend and re-enact section 43 of the license tax laws of the City <br /> <br />of Charlottesville,Va., approved March 27,1907, and subsequently thereto. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE COUNCIL OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, That section 43 of the license <br /> <br />tax laws of said city entitled "Hobby Horses , etc. , " be amended and re-enacted so as <br /> <br />to read as follows;) <br /> <br />Sec. 43. The license tax on hobby -horse machines, merry-go-rounds and other like <br /> <br />machines, shall be one hundred and fifty dollars for the period of one year,or twenty <br /> <br />five dollars per week of six running days,for each machine operated, but no license <br /> <br />be issued for a less period than one week.
