A RESOLUTION <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN <br /> <br />CONCURRING, That any of the several departments of the city, doing work in the <br /> <br />"Annexed Territory", are hereby requested and instructed to keep an accurate itemized <br /> <br />account of the cost of all such work in "Annexed Territory" so that the Auditor may <br /> <br />make a charge to an account to be known as the "Annexed. Ry. bridge corner 14th and <br /> <br />Main, to Dr. Aldermen's entrance and from Dr. Aldermen's enterance to C. & O. Ry. bridge, <br /> <br />Preston Hights, are in such condition that they are almost impassible; and Whereas <br /> <br />if these streets are allowed to go through another winter without repair there will <br /> <br />be no roadbed left, Therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the sum of $500. be and is <br /> <br />hereby appropriated, or so much as may be necessary, for the immediate repair of the <br /> <br />above mentioned streets: And that the Street Commissioner and Mayor are instructed to <br /> <br />have this work done at earliest possible time. And resolved, further, That the cost <br /> <br />of this work be charged to an account to be known as "Annexed.
