An Ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 595 of the City Code. <br /> <br />Be it Ordained by the Common Council, the Board of Aldermen concurring, that Sec, <br /> <br />595 of the City Ordinances be amended to read as follow: <br /> <br />Sec. 595. Locomotives --ringing of bell. <br /> <br />No locomotive engine bell may be rung within the City limits except when the <br /> <br />engine is in motion, unleak, to warn a person or persons off the track, and in motion <br /> <br />only when approaching and within two hundred feet or less of a street which the track <br /> <br />crosses at parade unless an emergency involving risk of life or serious injury should <br /> <br />require warning by bell the person or parsons manaced. <br /> <br />Any violation of this ordinance shall be a misdemeanor and the person violating <br /> <br />the ordinance shall be fined not less than $2. nor more than $5. <br /> <br />Adopted by the common Council August 14, 1919. <br />Ayes: Elliott, Forrest, Huyett, Twyman, Long and Via. (6) <br />Noes, Gleason (1). <br />Concurred in by Board of Aldermen August 18, 1919; <br />Ayes: Patton, Walker and Wheeler. <br /> <br />Presented and approved August 19, 1919. <br /> <br />Mayor Singature. <br />City Clerk Signature. <br />President Board of Aldermen Singature. <br />President Commom Council Signature. <br /> <br /> <br />A Resolution appropriating $4,000, for cement mixer: <br /> <br />Be it Resolved, by the Board of Aldermen, the Common Council Concurring, <br /> <br />That in accordance with the agreement readied at the Joint meeting on August <br /> <br />4th the sum of Four thousand dollars ($4,000.), or so much thereof as may be <br /> <br />necessary be and is hereby appropriated for the purchase of a cement road mixer. <br /> <br />Adopted by Board of Aldermen the August 18, 1919. <br />Ayes: Patton, Timberlake and Wheeler <br />Concurred in Common Council Septermber 11, 1919; <br />Ayes: Elliott, Forrest, Gleason, Huyett, long, Twyman, Smith and Via <br /> <br />Presented and approved September 12, 1919. <br /> <br />Mayor Singature. <br />City Clerk Signature. <br />President Board of Aldermen Singature. <br />President Commom Council Signature. <br /> <br /> <br />A Resolution fixing the salary of the City manager. <br /> <br />Be it Resolved by the Common Council, the Board of Aldermen concurring, <br /> <br />That the salary of the Ciry Manager be made $200. per month beginning Sep. 1, '19. <br /> <br />Adopted by the common Council September 11, 1919. <br />Ayes: Elliott, Forrest, Gleason, Huyett, <br />Smith, Twyman and Via. <br />Concurred in by Board of Aldermen Sep. 15, 1919; <br />Ayes: Patton, Timberlake and Walker <br /> <br />Presented and approved Sep. 16, 1919. <br /> <br />Mayor Singature. <br />City Clerk Signature. <br />President Board of Aldermen Singature. <br />President Commom Council Signature. <br />
