A Resolution making an appropriation for Mrs. M. A. Thomas: <br /> <br />Appropriation for Resolved, by the Conmon Council, the Board of Aldermen concurring <br /> <br />That the sum of $300. be paid annually on October 1st, to Mrs. M. A. Thomas <br /> <br />for four years making a total of $1,200. and that this amount be included in the <br /> <br />budget each year as an incidental. <br /> <br />Adopted by the common Council Sep. 11,1919. <br />Ayes: Elliott, Forrest, Gleason, Huyett, Long, <br />Twyman and Via. <br />Concurred in by Board of Aldermen Sep. 15, 1919; <br />Ayes: Patton, Timberlake,Walker and Wheeler. <br /> <br />Presented and approved September 16, 1919. <br /> <br />Mayor Singature. <br />City Clerk Signature. <br />President Board of Aldermen Singature. <br />President Commom Council Signature. <br /> <br />A Resolution to provide for the purchase of a 750 gallon triple combincation motor <br /> <br />apparatus, and to appropriate $900 to supplement the appropriation of $10,500 hereto- <br /> <br />fore made for said purpose. <br /> <br />Resolved, by the Board of Aldermen, the Common Cuuncil concurring <br /> <br />That in view of the advancing price and the need of fire equipment, one 750 <br /> <br />gallon triple combincation motor be purchased of the LaFrance, Seagrave or Ahrens-Fox <br /> <br />type as may be determined to the advantage of tie City by the City Manager and the <br /> <br />Committee co-operating with him. <br /> <br />Resolved, That the City Manager and a committee of one Alderman, to be appointed <br /> <br />by the officer presending at this meeting, and two councilmen, to be appointed by the <br /> <br />President of the Common Council, shall make the purchase in behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Resolved, That the sum of $900 or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby <br /> <br />approrriated to supplement the $10,500 already made available for the purchase this <br /> <br />apparatus. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Board of Aldermen Nov. 22, '19 <br />Ayes: Patton.
