<br />1. It shall be unlawful for any property holder or his auti^orized Agent to pemit
<br />upon any ofhis property in Charlottesville a privy or dry closet of any kind or
<br />description, for the reception of Yuman excreta, to be maintained or to exist,
<br />where any of the improvements of said property are connected with a public seer
<br />of said city, or located on a street along *.ieh runs a public sewer.
<br />Any person violating the provisions of t1his section arall be guilty OR a mild$'
<br />meanor and punishable by a fine of not less than $2.50 and each day the premises
<br />remain so uneonn#acted shall constit>>te a separate offense.
<br />2. It shall be unlawful for any pe rson in Crarlottesville to throw out,depositoor
<br />bury within the city limits, any excreta fromhuman bodies, solid or liquid,
<br />dispose of such substance in any canner other than by means of a properly seNered
<br />water closet or a properly constructed sanitary privy.
<br />Any person violating the provisions of tl�^is section shall be guilty of a
<br />misdemeanor, and shll be fined not less than $2.50 for each offense.
