A Resolution appropriating $175. to aid in having film picture of City, Country and

<br />The University for use in connection with advertising the amendment to the State
<br />
<br />Constitution for issuing road bonds.

<br />Resolved, by the Board of Aldermen, the Common Council concurring,
<br />
<br />That the sum of $175, or no much thereof as may be necessary, be and is
<br />
<br />hereby appropriated toward a fund to be used by the Conty in having film pictures
<br />
<br />and University of Charlottesville, The University and Albemarle County taken to be displayed
<br />
<br />throughout the State in -furtherance of the proposed road bonds amendmeny election to be held
<br />
<br />in November of this year.

<br />A Resolution approving a pronored contract between the City and H.E. Young & Co.
<br />
<br />in reference to enlarging a newer connection, and authorizing the Mayor to execute
<br />
<br />same on behalf of the City.
<br />
<br />Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Charlottesville, the Board of
<br />
<br />Aldermen concurring, That H.E. Young & Company be and tree are hereby permitted to
<br />
<br />enlarge the connection with the City sewer Main, authorized by Joint resolution of
<br />
<br />the Board of Aldermen and Common Council, approved October 17,1916, to a pipe of
<br />
<br />not more than ten inches in diameter, for the purpose of disposing of and discharging
<br />
<br />drainage and waste water, except surfacw water and surface drainage, from their
<br />
<br />plant into said sewer main through such enlarged connection, said H. E. Young & Co,
<br />
<br />to bear the entire expense of enlarging sucr connection, and that the Mayor be and
<br />
<br />he is hereby authorized to execute the proper contract in regard to this enlargement.

<br />A Resolution authorizing the Auditor to have certain of the recent issues of bonds

<br />passed upon as to their legality by a firm of bond attorneys, and appropriating the

<br />sum of $500 therefor.

<br />Resolved, by the Common Council the Board of Aldermen concurring,

<br />That the Auditor be and he is hereby instructed to spend not exceeding the sum
<br />
<br />Of $500 to employ the firm of Sherman & Sterling to look into the legality of issue
<br />
<br />Of the water, Gas, Fire and Funding Bonds.
