<br />water.. That Sic. 434 of the City Code, entitled Sec.434. --where and to whom payable, be 
<br />and is hereby amended to read as follows: 
<br />It shall he t'^e duty of all re reone against wtlom sucl, water rates are assessed, 
<br />on the days on which t' ey shall fall. dlie, as heretofore prescribed, to pay said 
<br />assessments to the Treasurer of the city at his office. T"re amount of said bill shall 
<br />be paid to the Treasurer or the day it is due, and if said assessments are not paid 
<br />on or before the 10th day of the calendar month in which they are due, it shall 
<br />be the duty of the Treasurer to notify the Superintendent of such default, and the 
<br />Superintendent shall immediately sti,ut the water off from the n remi ses, as to which 
<br />default be made, and shall not turn the same on again until he is notified by the 
<br />Treasurer thatsaid assessment has been paid , including a fee of $1.00 to reirnburse 
<br />the city for the expense of turning on the water, rn the event of the lOth dein of 
<br />,the month falling on Sunday, the Treasurer is authorized to extend the time of
