8. That the Mayor, whenever he deems it advisable or when requested by the <br /> <br />Chief, appoint special officers whose services may be needed to restrain or punish <br /> <br />violations of liquor laws or any other of the laws and that these special policmen <br /> <br />serve in citizens clothes, if necessary; <br /> <br />9. That the salary range of patrolmen shall range from a minimum of $75.00 per <br /> <br />month to a maximum of $110.00 with a view to grading compensation to the experience <br /> <br />and efficiency of the several members of the force and in order to stimulate their <br /> <br />ambition; <br /> <br />10.
