A RESOLUTION accepting the proposition for opening of Wertland Street and authorizing <br /> <br />the City Manager to laysidewalk on same. <br /> <br />RESOLVED, BY THE COMMON COUNCIL, THE BOARD OF ALDRMEN CONCURRING: <br /> <br />That the report of the Street Committe in matter of opening of Wartland Street <br /> <br />between 12-1/2 and 13th Streets, be received and accepted, and the City Manager <br /> <br />be directed to carry out the laying of the sidewalks as soon as funds may be available <br /> <br />for same, and as soon as the said streets shall have been deeded to the City. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Common Council March 27, 1922 <br />Ayes: Ellington, Forrest, Morris, Quarles, Twyman, <br />Via, Watson and Whitten. <br />Concurred in by board of Aldermen April 17, 1922 <br />Ayes: Greaver, Haden and Patton <br /> <br />Presented and approved April 18, 1922 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Signature. <br />Clerk Signature. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION appropriating $1,600 to lay sewer in 6th and 6-1/2 Streets to <br /> <br />connect with the present sewer in Dice Street. <br /> <br />That the sum of $1,600, or. so much thereof as may be necessary, be and is hereby <br /> <br />appropriated to lay a sewer line in 6th and 6-1/2 Streets to connect with the present <br /> <br />sewer in Dice Street. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Common Council March 27, 1922 <br />Ayes: Ellington, Forrest, Morris, Quarles, Twyman, <br />Via, Watson and Whitten. <br />Concurred in by board of Aldermen April 17, 1922 <br />Ayes: Greaver, Haden and Patton <br /> <br />Presented and approved April 18, 1922 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Signature. <br />Clerk Signature. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE REGUALTING THE INSTALLATION AND OPERATION OF BOILERS IN THE CITY OF <br /> <br />CHARLOTTESVILLE: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL, THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN CONCURRING, <br /> <br />That no steam boiler carrying over ten pounds pressure per square inch shall be <br /> <br />erected or operated within the City limits unless an inspection certificate of a <br /> <br />recoognized insurance or casualty company is presented to the City Manager, who will <br /> <br />then grant a permit.
