September 1, 1928, maturing September 1. 196$ with the option on the part of the/to <br /> <br />pay the principal thereof at the expiration of twenty years from their date the <br /> <br />idsue being in bonds of $1,000.00 each numbered one to nine hundred and thirty-five <br /> <br />both inclusive, have been duly authorized and whereas, $810, 000.00 of said issue hat <br /> <br />been sold $837,600.00 received as the proceeds thereof and whereas bonds numbered <br /> <br />one to one hundred and fifty, inclusive of said issue were designated as Water Bonds <br /> <br />by an ordinance adopted October 30, 1922, and whereas it is deemed necessary and exedient <br /> <br />to designate additional bonds of said issue as Water Bonds and set aside the proceeds <br /> <br />thereof for the sole use of extending and improving the dity-Water supply ; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the council of the City of Char- <br /> <br />lottesville that bonds numbered one hundred and fifty-one to two hundred and fifty <br /> <br />inclusive, of City of Charlottesville Improvament Bonds be and the same are nereby <br /> <br />designated as Water Bonds anal $100, 000.00 is set aside as the proceeds thereof and <br /> <br />to be devoted exclusively for the purpose of extending and improving the City Water <br /> <br />Supply for no other purpose. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council April 16th, 1923. <br />Ayes, Menris, Brown, and Joachim, Noes, None. <br />Clerk Signature <br />President Signature
