<br />one hundred and fifty feet north of and parallel to Main Street to the West side of
<br />Fourteenth Street, thence South along the west Bide of r'ourteenth Street to Main Street
<br />thence following the North side of Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in a easterly direction
<br />to hidge Street, thence with midge Street north to a point one hundred and fifty feet
<br />from the South side of ;gain Street, thence in an easterly direction parallel to and
<br />one hundred and fifty feet south of Main Street to Seventh Street, E., thence with Seventh
<br />Street North to Market Street, thence east with Market :street to idinth Street E., Thence
<br />following ninth street to the beginning.
<br />Sec. 3. Encroachments on Street lines.
<br />Whenever any person, firm or corporation proposes to erect any house, wall,
<br />structure, or fence, or addition thereto within the oorporat* limits, such person, firm,
<br />or corporation shall cause to be made byAcertified surveyor a survey of the lot on
<br />which said structure is to be erect, d which shall show the true Street line and in a
<br />11 blue print thereof shall be suomitted to the building inspector for approval.
<br />In any case, where the building inspector ascertains that any such builds
<br />ing or structure encroaches upon the true street line, it shall be the duty of the City
<br />Manager to notify said person, firm, or corporation in writing to remove such building
<br />or structure from the true street line so that it will not encroach thereon; and, upon
<br />failure for a period of five days by such person, firm, or corporation to comply with the
<br />written notice from
<br />the City
<br />Manager, such person,
<br />firm, or
<br />corporation shall be fined
<br />not less than $5.00
<br />nor more
<br />than $20.00, and each
<br />day that
<br />such condition continues Shall
<br />be considered a separate offense.
<br />Sec. 4. Fermit required.
<br />(a) Before the erection, construction, or alteration of any building or
<br />structure of part thereof, and before the installation or alteration of the plumbing
<br />drainage, piping, or wiring thereof, where thetotal coat of such building or structure+
<br />will be in excess
<br />of $50.00, application for
<br />a permit
<br />for the
<br />erection,
<br />constructi ont
<br />or alteration of
<br />such building or structure,
<br />or part
<br />thereof,
<br />shall be
<br />made to the City
<br />Manater, which application shall be in triplicate and shall be accompanied by such
<br />Tans and specifications as will give full information as to the character of the building,
<br />p
<br />its size, arrangement of rooms, hallp, closets, and stairways, and the material to be
<br />used in its construction, and the City Janager may require such additional drawings
