WATER RATES: WHEN PAYABLE. SECTION 433 OF THE CITY CODE AMENDED. BE IT ORDILINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 433 of the City Code, entitled, "Water Rates, When Payable" be amended and reenacted so as to read as follows: Water rates for every consumer using water solely for domestic uses for himself and family and not exceeding two roomers or boarders shall be payable quarterly in advance. Water rates for all other consumers shall be payable monthly in advance. Adopted by the Council November 2, 1925. Ayes, Brown & Joachim, Noes None. Clerk Signature. President Signature. ADT OF ORDINANCE EMPOWERING THE BUILDING, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR TO ENTER PROPERTY OR PREMISES FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSPECTION. The Building Inspector, the Plumbing Inspector and Electrical Inspector are hereby authorized and empowered to enter upon any building or premises in the City for the purpose of seeing that the laws and ordinanoes, relatiere to building, plumbing and electrical installations and usage are obeyed and inforced. The occupant or owner of any building or promises who shall fail, or re- fuse to permit such entrance or inspection to be made, shall upon conviction be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) or more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and each day of such refusal shall constitute a separate ofense. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby rem- pealed. Adopted by the council November 2, 1926 Ayes, Joachim and Brown, Noes None. Clerk Signature. President Signature. COMPENSATION OF THE CIVIL AND POLICE JUSTICE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the Civil & Police Justice shall be paid a compensation of $1800.00 per annum, payable in equal monthly instalment as provided by law. COURT ROOM, OFFICES, FURNITURE AND STATIONERY FOR CIVIL & POLICE JUSTICE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville as follows: 1. The Civil and Police Justice shall use the room on the first floor at the south and of the City Hall as his court room. 2. The City Manager is directed to furnish the Civil and Police Justice with an office, and all necessary furniture, books and stationery as provided by law.
