WATER RATES: <br /> <br />WHEN PAYABLE. <br /> <br />SECTION 433 OF THE CITY CODE AMENDED. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDILINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section <br /> <br />433 of the City Code, entitled, "Water Rates, When Payable" be amended and reenacted so <br /> <br />as to read as follows: <br /> <br />Water rates for every consumer using water solely for domestic uses for <br /> <br />himself and family and not exceeding two roomers or boarders shall be payable quarterly <br /> <br />in advance. <br /> <br />Water rates for all other consumers shall be payable monthly in advance. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council November 2, 1925. <br />Ayes, Brown & Joachim, Noes None. <br /> <br />Clerk Signature. <br />President Signature. <br /> <br />ADT OF ORDINANCE EMPOWERING THE BUILDING, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR TO ENTER <br /> <br />PROPERTY OR PREMISES FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSPECTION. <br /> <br />The Building Inspector, the Plumbing Inspector and Electrical Inspector <br /> <br />are hereby authorized and empowered to enter upon any building or premises in the City <br /> <br />for the purpose of seeing that the laws and ordinanoes, relatiere to building, plumbing <br /> <br />and electrical installations and usage are obeyed and inforced. <br /> <br />The occupant or owner of any building or promises who shall fail, or re- <br /> <br />fuse to permit such entrance or inspection to be made, shall upon conviction be fined <br /> <br />not less than five dollars ($5.00) or more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and each <br /> <br />day of such refusal shall constitute a separate ofense. <br /> <br />All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby rem- <br /> <br />pealed. <br /> <br />Adopted by the council November 2, 1926 <br />Ayes, Joachim and Brown, Noes None. <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk Signature. <br />President Signature. <br /> <br />COMPENSATION OF THE CIVIL AND POLICE JUSTICE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that the <br /> <br />Civil & Police Justice shall be paid a compensation of $1800.00 per annum, payable in <br /> <br />equal monthly instalment as provided by law. <br /> <br />This ordinance shall be effective from January 1st, 1926, <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council December 7, 1925. <br /> <br />Ayes, Morris and Brown, Noes None. <br /> <br /> <br />Clerk Signature. <br />President Signature. <br /> <br />COURT ROOM, OFFICES, FURNITURE AND STATIONERY FOR CIVIL & POLICE JUSTICE <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville as follows: <br /> <br />1. The Civil and Police Justice shall use the room on the first floor at <br /> <br />the south and of the City Hall as his court room. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is directed to furnish the Civil and Police Justice with <br /> <br />an office, and all necessary furniture, books and stationery as provided by law. <br /> <br />
