CODE AMENDED, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that <br />Sect ion 86, of t he Cit y Code of 1909 be amended and reenacted so as to read as follows: <br />The treasurer shall collect all taxes, including license taxes from <br />persons, firma and corporations engaged in 000upati one, businesses, and professions. $e <br />shall have the right to appoint one or more deputies, to be approved by the Corporat6on <br />Court for whose acts and doings he and his sureties shall be responsible. <br />This ordinance shall be effective January let, 1926. <br />Adopted by the Council December 21, 1925. <br />Ayes, Brown and Noachim, Noes Nonee <br />l -&NT • <br />SECTION 99 OF THE CODE REMALED, COLLECT ION OF GAS AND WATZR BILLS: <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY the Council of the City of Charlottesville thtt <br />Section 99 of the Code of 1909 entitled, "Collection of Gas and 'Vater Bills" be and the <br />same is hereby repealed.
