be so connected that the liquids may flow or be drawn from one tank to another and no connection of any nature between tanks will be permitted. No tank having a capacity of more than 560 gallons shall be installed, provided however, that nothing contained herein shall be construed as preventing; the use and re- pair of tanks of more than 560 gallon capacity installed prior to the passage of this ordinance. This ordinance shall, upon its passage become a part of the City Buildin, Code, and the installation, use and maintenance of all tanks installed shall be subject to all the requirements, restrictions, conditions and penalties as provided therein. Clerk Signature President Signature AN ORDIANCE AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 443 OF THE CITY CODE ENTILTED: "UNATHORIZED PERSONS TURING ON AND OFF WATER." Be it ordained that Section 443 of the City Code entitled "Unathhorized person turn- ing on and off water" be amended and reenacted so as to read as follows: No person, firm, or corporation shall turn off or cause to be turned off or on the city viater at the curb stop cock box, or meter box; or remove or replace a water meter or to wake any connection connecting the city water viit:i the house service rtfter a meter has been removed; or to make any connection around a meter or to otherwise disturb, remove, de- face, or change any portion of the city's water system: other than a regular licensed plumber or his authorized agent acting under authority of the plumbing code, or one of the city's authorized personnel while acting in his official capacity. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall, upon conviction, be fined not legs than $25.00 nor more than $100.00. Clerk Signature President Signature AN ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE TO DIRECT TRE LOCATION OF BUILDINGS FOR STORING EXPLOSIVEOR COMBUSTIBLE SUBSTANCES. AND TO PROHIBIT THE SALE OF KEROSENE OIL GASOLINE, BENZINE OR NAPHTHA IN RESI- DENCE SECTIONS IN THE FIRE LIMITS AND CONGESTED LIMITS OF THE CITY OFCHARLOTTESVILLE, AS DEFINED IN EXISTING ORDINANCES. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that it shall be unlawful within the area in Charlottesville known as fire limit and congested fire limits of the City of Charlottesville, as described in existing ordinances to store for sale, keep for sale, or sell upon any lot within 100 feet of any building used solely for residence pur- poses, dynamite, kerosene, psoline, benzine or naphtha. This ordinance shall not apply to buildings in, or lots upon which tanks are now installed. Any violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than ten dollars nor more than one hundred dollars for each offense.
