The Clerks of all courts of record and every justice of the peace, including police, trial and juvenile justice, shall, within thirty days after final conviction of any person in his court under this subsection report the fact thereof and the name, post office address and street address of such person, together with the license plate number on the vehicle operated by such person, to the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles, who shall preserve a record thereof in his office. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the date of its passage, and all ordinances, or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. President AN ORDINANCE ADDING A NEW SECTION TO THE CITY CODE OF 1932, DESIGNATED SECTION 163 ( a), PROHIBITING THE ERECTION OF SIGNS OVER THE STREET, EXCEPT EIECTRIC SIGNS. BE IT ORDAINED By the Council of the City of Charlottesville, that a new section be added to the City Code of 1932, which shall read as follows.- SEC, ollows. SEC. 163 (a). SIGNS - NON-ELBCTRIC - PROHIBITED. It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect or maintain any sign or similar structure over any side walk, street or alley, except as provided for and permitted by Section 163 of' this Code. This ordinance shall be in force from its passage and all ordinances, or parts of ordinances, in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed. Adopted by the Council May 7, 1934. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 112 of the License Code of 1934, be amended and reenacted so as to read as follows: SEC. 112. THEATRICALS. On every theatrical performance or any performance similar thereto, panorama or any public performance or exhibition of any kind there shall be paid five dollars ($5.00) for each performance or fifteen dollars ($15.00) per week of a continuous performance, except for charitable, educational, or benevolent purposes, and with the further exception of road or tab shows held In conjunction with the usual cinema attraction, where the price of admission for the entire performance does not exceed fifty cents.
