The Clerks of all courts of record and every justice of the peace, including <br />police, trial and juvenile justice, shall, within thirty days after final conviction of <br />any person in his court under this subsection report the fact thereof and the name, post <br />office address and street address of such person, together with the license plate number <br />on the vehicle operated by such person, to the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles, <br />who shall preserve a record thereof in his office. <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the date of its passage, and all <br />ordinances, or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. <br />Adopted by the Council May 70 1934, <br />Ayes: Dr. Haden, Mr. Huff, Mr. Jessup, <br />and Mr. Twyman. <br />Noes: None. <br />President <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING A NEW SECTION TO THE CITY CODE OF 1932, DESIGNATED SECTION <br />163 ( a), PROHIBITING THE ERECTION OF SIGNS OVER THE STREET, EXCEPT EIECTRIC SIGNS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED By the Council of the City of Charlottesville, that a new section be added <br />to the City Code of 1932, which shall read as follows.- <br />SEC, <br />ollows. <br />SEC. 163 (a). SIGNS - NON-ELBCTRIC - PROHIBITED. <br />It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect or maintain <br />any sign or similar structure over any side walk, street or alley, except as provided for <br />and permitted by Section 163 of' this Code. <br />This ordinance shall be in force from its passage and all ordinances, or parts of <br />ordinances, in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed. <br />Adopted by the Council May 7, 1934. <br />Ayes: Dr. Haden, Mr. Huff, Mr. Jessup, <br />and Mr. Twyman. <br />M nxQ- None. <br />- es cent <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING SECTION 112 OF THE LICENSE CODE OF 19349 <br />ENTITLED THEATRICALS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 112 of the <br />License Code of 1934, be amended and reenacted so as to read as follows: <br />SEC. 112.
