The blanks in the above bond and coupon shall be filled in with respect to numbers, <br /> <br />dates and amounts as set forth and provided for in Section 1 of this ordinance. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Said bonds shall be signed by the Mayor and Treasurer of said City, and <br /> <br />attested by the Clerk of the Council under the corporate seal of the City of Charlottes- <br /> <br />ville, and the coupons shall be authenticated with the facsimile signature of said officers, <br /> <br />which is hereby declared in all respects the equivalent to the manual signing thereof by <br /> <br />said officers. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The proceeds of this entire issue of bonds shall be used exclusively <br /> <br />for the redemption of so much of the bonds, described in the preambles to this ordinance, <br /> <br />as are not redeemed out of funds available for the purpose in the Sinking Fund. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. So long as said bonds, or any of them, remain outstanding and unpaid, <br /> <br />there shall annually be levied upon all taxable property in the City a tax sufficient <br /> <br />to provide for the payment of the principal and interest as the same respectively become <br /> <br />due and payable. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. The City of Charlottesville hereby declares its intention to exercise <br /> <br />its right to redeem the entire amount of the outstanding bonds, described in the preambles <br /> <br />to this ordinance, on the first day of September 1942, and the Clerk of the Council is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the call of said bonds for redemption <br /> <br />to be published in a newspaper published in the City of Charlottesville, Virginia, and in <br /> <br />a newspaper published in the City of New York, N.Y., once a week for two successive weeks, <br /> <br />the first publication to be made not later than two (2) days after the delivery of the <br /> <br />Refunding Bonds authorized by this ordinance and receipt of the purchase price thereof, <br /> <br />but in any event the first publication of said notice of redemption shall be made not <br /> <br />later than August 1, 1942. <br /> <br />SECTION 6.
