It is mutually covenanted and agreed that the rights and obligations <br /> <br />herein created shall enure to the benefit of and be binding upon the owner's <br /> <br />heirs, successors and assigns. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the City has caused this agreement to be executed <br /> <br />by its City Manager, ____________________, and its corporate seal to be hereto <br /> <br />affixed by the Clerk of its Council, ____________________, and the owner has signed <br /> <br />the same this the year, month and day first above written. <br /> <br />CITY OF CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. <br /> <br />By ______________________________ <br /> <br />City Manager <br /> <br />Attest: __________________________ <br /> <br />Owner ___________________________ <br /> <br />Clerk of City Council. <br /> <br />From and after date of the adoption of this ordinance no applications for sewerage <br /> <br />connections outside the City shall be granted except for the connection of property to <br /> <br />which City water is furnished, and from and after the date of the passage of this ordinance <br /> <br />the charges for all sewerage service outside of the City of Charlottesville shall be in <br /> <br />accordance with the terms set forth in the foregoing contract. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council September 3, 1946. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Adams, Mr. Gleason, Mr. Hildreth, <br /> <br />Mr. Tebell and Mr. Watson. <br /> <br />Noes: None. <br />Clerk Signature <br />President Signature <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND REENACTING SECTION 12 OF CHAPTER 20 OF THE <br /> <br />CHARLOTTESVILLE CITY CODE OF 1945 RELATING TO CHARGES FOR DIGGING GRAVES <br /> <br />AND SALE OF GRAVE SPACE. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Charlottesville that Section 12 of <br /> <br />Chapter 20 of the Charlottesville City Code of 1945 be and the same is hereby amended <br /> <br />and reenacted so as to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 12. Charges For Grave Space and Digging Graves. <br /> <br />The following charges shall be made for grave spaces in Oakwood Cemetery: <br /> <br />In Divisions H, J, K, and L, $25.00 for each grave space or $125.00 for a section <br /> <br />of six grave spaces, provided that the area in Division L lying south of the road <br /> <br />shall be designated for interment of white paupers; in Division G set aside for <br /> <br />the interment of colored persons, $40.00 for each grave space or $100.00 for each <br /> <br />section of six grave spaces. All sums so paid shall be deposited in the fund <br /> <br />described in Section 9. <br /> <br />The following charges shall be made for digging graves: <br /> <br />(1) Where the outside case is three feet or less in length .......... $4.50 <br /> <br />(2) Where the outside case is over three feet but does not exceed <br /> <br />four and one-half feet in length .............................. $6.00 <br /> <br />(3) Where the outside case is over four and one-half feet but does not <br /> <br />exceed six feet in length .................................... $12.00 <br /> <br />(4) Where the outside case exceeds six feet in length .............. $14.00 <br /> <br />The above fees shall be payable in advance, unless guaranteed by some responsible <br /> <br />person. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council October 7, 1946. <br /> <br />Ayes: Mr. Adams, Mr. Nash, Mr. Tebell, <br /> <br />and Mr. Watson. <br /> <br />Noes: None. <br /> <br />Clerk Signature <br />President Signature
